Mantaraya ATV Adventures is a brand new ATV tours company based in the beautiful beach town of Tamarindo on the Guanacaste coast of Costa Rica. Newly established in 2024, our small dedicated team is a mix of international (Swiss, Cuban, Belgian) and local Tico (Costa Rican).

Everything you need to know about our tours!

What should I bring?

Dress according to current weather conditions. Wear closed toe shoes (no sandals or flip flops), sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. Be prepared to get wet and dirty. If you want, bring extra clothes to change into. Don’t forget your water bottle and bug spray. And be sure to bring your camera/phone for all the amazing photos you’ll be taking!

What is supplied by Mantaraya adventures?

We supply the ATVs, a professional experienced guide, helmets and safety gear. You can park your vehicle in our parking lot during the tour. The lot is secure and is monitored by our security cameras. We also have lockers where you can safely store your things.

Requirements

No ATV experience necessary. However, before embarking on an ATV tour, it’s important to consider your skill and comfort level. Please inform your guide whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider so they can assess your skill level and determine the appropriate terrain for your tour.

Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 16-years-old.

Passengers must be over 10-years-old.

BE AWARE BEFORE YOUR TOUR

Our tours operate rain or shine.

Maximum 2 people on an ATV.

Maximum weight is 600 lbs on the ATVs.

Drinking and driving/riding is not allowed.

Not recommended for pregnant travellers.

Not recommended for travellers with back problems.

Confirmation will be received at time of booking.

All rentals require signing of damage waiver.
